I love the raised garden bed as an extra bit of protection. I’ve been hardening off plants in this greenhouse all week and I don’t think they would have held up so well to some of the wind we’ve had if they’d been out in the open. There is nothing that anchors the tent to the ground but the tent is very snug over the raised bed, it would take a very strong wind to pull it off. I’ve just tucked the tent ends under the bed to be on the safe side.
I bought two of these. I think they are perfect. We live in the mountains where the nights get cold, so its great to be able to help stretch the growing season. We also have deer everywhere and I like that I can un zip the covers and the deer won't likely nibble too much, or I can cover with netting later in the season. Only negative is the plastic cover and zipper isn't likely to last more than a few seasons, so I'm hopeful that we will either upgrade to a bidder greenhouse, or be able to find replacement covers by then.
